TR research into AI and mental health
Published in Press Releases by Paula Scott on October 20th 2025
We are delighted to announce that we will be partnering with leading UK Universities in working towards establishing a benchmark for the safe and effective use of AI in mental health support.
As AI tools such as chatbots become increasingly common in therapy and wellbeing services, it is vital that consideration is given to ethical standards.
This research aims to develop a practical, evidence-based benchmark to evaluate how safely, effectively, and ethically artificial intelligence (AI) systems can be used to support people’s mental health.
We will release more information once the project launches next month.
