Do you need help with your Reducing Parental Conflict grant application for the May deadline?

Published in Blog by Sarah Ingram on April 26th 2022

As the deadline for DWP Workforce Development grants to support practitioners working with parents in conflict approaches on 13 May 2022, it is fortunate that only outline proposals are required at this stage. Evaluating the kind of support each service might need is a complex challenge for commissioners, which will require careful planning.

Tavistock Relationships has valuable experience in this area. We have been working with couples for over 70 years, and as part of the government’s Reducing Parental Conflict Programme, have delivered direct support to hundreds of parents on behalf of more than 30 local authorities.

As part of the government’s Reducing Parental Conflict Programme, have delivered direct support to hundreds of parents on behalf of more than 30 local authorities.

More recently we have been working with local authorities to train staff to deliver this support themselves. The strength and depth of our experience means we can provide bespoke solutions which meet the varying needs of each team – and which are suited to the specific requirements of parents they are supporting.

To help Local Authorities understand our various RPC offers we have built pathways of activities which fit together but can also be provided separately. These include training programmes suited to more, or less, experienced teams, as well as a range of specialist interventions, one-off workshops, consultations, evaluations and innovative digital tools.

As the grant deadline approaches, our team is very happy to advise on tailored solutions to suit your needs.
