How therapy works

Therapy is a process during which you can air what most concerns you in a safe and confidential setting.

The first step is an initial consultation with one of our therapists.

At your initial appointment, we will work with you to understand the issues that concern you most. You can come with your partner or on your own. At this meeting, you will have the chance to talk through your concerns and ask any questions you may have about how therapy works.

The next step is to match you with a therapist who will be able to see you on a regular basis each week. We find that the continuity of weekly appointments can be very helpful in having the time to think about and work through difficulties and to achieve lasting changes.

(We can offer subsidised therapy to a limited number of people, who otherwise would not be able to access therapy. Please click here to enquire about our low fee services.)
