Ella Bahaire, one of our Couple Therapists at Tavistock Relationships, watches Couples Therapy on BBC Two.
In her conversation with ‘The Psychologist’ , an official monthly publication of The British Psychological Society, she shared her thoughts on the series.
Couples Therapy is a docu-series filmed in the New York office of psychoanalyst Dr Orna Guralnik as she works with four couples for around 20 sessions.
It successfully demonstrates the agonies and the breakthroughs couples experience in therapy. Also, for people who are interested in becoming a couple therapist, the show offers a window into what it’s like to be the therapist, struggling along with couples as they go through their relationships challenges.
