Sarah Ingram, Deputy Director of Strategy and Development at Tavistock Relationships explains how our consultation and evaluation services are part of the way we help local authorities deliver support to parents in conflict.
Tavistock Relationships has a long history of training and programme development in reducing parental conflict. Our unique offer is born out of direct experience delivering support to parents in around 30 local authorities over the last four years. In addition to offering training packages, we have developed an award programme and can provide support with projects and events, as well as research, conference speakers and webinar delivery.
The Tavistock Relationships Award for Excellent Relational Practice is valid for three years and is given to local authorities that meet our four evidence-based criteria. We will provide you with tools to evaluate your current support and training, and to review your policies that impact parental experience of services. We will help you along the way, and will offer clear goals and support using our expertise to support areas of change needed.

Local authorities can then use this framework to assess their workforce’s competence and confidence with parental relationships.

Due to our depth of experience and expertise in this field, we are able to offer you access to a range of nationally recognised speakers who can contribute to your events or deliver bespoke webinars. We can also support with engagement in research evidence for elected members, local authority leaders and staff.
