Foundation Certificate in Couple Counselling and Psychotherapy
Tavistock Relationships' Foundation Certificate in Couple Counselling and Psychotherapy course is the next step towards a career in psychotherapy and couple counselling. Students develop counselling skills and gain a deeper understanding of psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theories and concepts with a particular focus on the couple relationship.

Ready to qualify
Couple and Individual Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
A unique training that qualifies practitioners to work with both couples and individuals using a psychodynamic framework. This course is accredited by the BACP and offers an academic award (PG Dip or MA) via our partnership with Birkbeck College, University of London.

Advanced trainings
Advanced Standing Qualification in Couple Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
A two-year (minimum) advanced standing course suitable for qualified therapists who are experienced in individual psychodynamic psychotherapy/counselling with adults or children and adolescents. Accreditation with British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) pending.
Advanced Standing (Psychodynamic)
2 years minimum part-time
Advanced Standing Qualification in Couple Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
A two-year (minimum) advanced standing course which delivers an extensive practical knowledge of psychoanalytic theory and techniques. Suitable for qualified individual or child psychoanalytic psychotherapists. This course is accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council.
Advanced Standing (Psychoanalytic)
2 years minimum part-time
Certificate in Psychosexual Studies
This CPD course takes place over two terms and consists of 8 full day Saturday workshops. It focuses on thinking about relationships and sex and applying this understanding to participants’ work.

2 terms (8 Saturdays in total)
MSc in Psychosexual Therapy
This unique two-year course offers comprehensive clinical training and practical experience in the field of psychosexual therapy. The course is accredited by the College of Sex and Relationship Therapist (COSRT), and upon completion, graduates are qualified to apply for full registration with COSRT and practice as professional psychosexual therapists.
