Role description:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of a Health Education England pilot programme which will provide training at post graduate level for a small cohort of staff embedded in NHS IAPT services. This national pilot is a 3-year programme in counselling, with focus on the evidence based, NICE approved, integrated therapeutic model, 'Couple Therapy for Depression'.

This highly successful couple therapy model is recognised as a key component of NHS Psychological Therapies and the HEE funded pilot is an endorsement of the importance of working with couples to support mental health and underlines the role that relationships can play in recovering from depression.

The role of Programme Head will be both a demanding and rewarding opportunity. The successful applicant will guide trainees through three years of academic study and clinical practice with an initial foundation year providing trainees with a grounding in all IAPT modalities and the specialisation of working with couples, followed by a two-year post graduate diploma level clinical qualification.

  • About you

    The post holder will be a qualified therapist or Clinical Psychologist, with experience in delivering counselling or psychotherapy training. You will be a confident and concise communicator, with demonstrable management experience, and will have an interest in innovation and engaging with new ideas and developments.

Role description:

As a Clinical Services Coordinator, you will provide a high standard of administrative support to our clients and therapists.

In this varied role, you act as a liaison between our therapists and clients and provide excellent customer service support, responding to all enquiries professionally and effectively and ensuring a caring and high-quality service at all times.

Using the clinical services database, you will ensure accurate records and personal data are maintained and organised in a confidential manner. You will also provide inductions and ongoing support to our therapists in the use of digital platforms including Salesforce and Office 365.
